Hi, My uncle has got his radio locked a few years ago and I'm trying to find out, 1, how to get the serial code, and 2, how to unlock the radio.
I've seen a few forums but they say press and hold 6 whilst pressing either 1 or 2 for the serial number before I can get the lock code, unforunatly this is not doing anything.
I dont drive myself, so not sure if I'm doing it right, also someone said about having to pull the radio out to find the serial number with coat-hanger cut in four....(!)

My brother has an 02 plate 1.6, I think he has serviced it twice in the 7 yesrs he has had it and it appears bullet proof. Not much in the way of poke but reasonable on fuel and roomy. I would exchange the wife's Fiesta for one any day but for the fact that they dont have isofix for the nipper. I like the look of them and for an oldish family hatch they drive and handle really well. Parts are cheap and they are reliable. Thousands out there so do shop about.
I have unfortunately broken the glass in the panoramic roof of my 1997 Mercedes SL 500 R129. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement? I have been told that I can't just replace the glass, I need a whole new roof. Read more

Theres a lot of designer furniture companies offering exclusive designer furniture at affordable prices. As suggested above, try out a google search you should find yourself with a lot of options to choose from :)

hi got a 53 plate vectra dti 2.0 and when i accelerated to 3500 revs the spanner light came on and went into limp mode as soon as you switch off and on again the light is off until i hit 3500 revs and light comes on and goes into limp mode . has any body got any ideas thanks Read more
I don't know specifically on this engine but on a VAG TDi it's a sure sign that the turbo is overboosting and that the ECU is taking action by reducing engine power to prevent damage. This is usually due to the variable vane ring in the turbo becoming stuck due to the build up of soot and corrosion. I would guess and suspect yours is also a turbo overboost problem. You will need to read the fault codes that are stored and go from there.
