I have a Ford KA radio 6000AUX RDS, That is asking for code but without flashing dashes and when I try to enter code all I get are zero's. A previous solution that worked on a different radio involving the buttons to go up or down cd tracks won't solve my problem, is there another solution.

Hi guys, I’m working as a bartender and I think that you can really help me with some issue. Because of my work, I need to taste and drink some alcohol and always after work I’m not sure if I can drive. When you are tired after hours of hard work it’s really hard to ascertain. I live 35 km from my work so bus or train is not an option. So I wonder what is ur the best way to be sure that you can drive?

Yes, use the other one.
With the BBC travel news site now closed, does anyone know of a reliable alternative?
Michelin is another option (www.viamichelin.co.uk) - offers re-routing to adjust for delays, and seems to have fairly up-to-date traffic conditions (make sure you click the traffic icon - between the parking & petrol icons - to get current traffic)
I have the opportunity to buy a car that belonged to a deceased relative.
It's a Freelander 2 ES. 57 plate 2.2 auto, 80k miles with a good history and two previous owners.
Very tidy for about £6k.
I guess has potential to be a real money pit. Your thoughts and opinions would be appreciated. Read more
The WBAC offer will be dramatically reduced when they physically see the car, there's no chance of them getting £5275 and there are several similar cars with dealers on Autotrader around £6-£7k. Dealers expect a substantial margin in these because of the likelihood of costly prep work so the true trade value in reality will be well under £5k.
Before offering, go with them to WBAC to witness the real offer then make yours slightly higher. It's not a bad initial price for a private sale but selling to you avoids a load of hassle for them but from your perspective you must offset the high likelihood of a costly failure by buying at least £1,500-£2,000 less than retail.

Looks like a marketing-led campaign - I can't think that Peugeot is after their engineering expertise. Read more
That's right, an Opel brand sprinkled with the gernan engineering fairy dust might well push the perceived brand image upwards. I remember in my youth the Opel brand was viewed as a sort of budget German make if one couldn't stretch to a BMW or Audi. Cars like the Opel Manta GTE, the Ascona and the Kadett were all quite sporty, vaguely desirable things, much more so than the equivalent Vauxhalls. We had an Opel Kadett and loved it.

Guess you have the Volvo 6 engine in this.Looks like the alternator is not charging.Get the system tested properly but sounds like you are going to need an exchange alternator. As an estimate ,around £4-500 fixed. The car is not going to drive far without out.Petrol engine versions are quite rare in europe,so not sure what the demand would be s/hand.
Besides the school run I seem to be increasingly held up by what appears to be lack of fore thought by providers of services or deliveries.Surely the council contractors of refuse collection and street cleaning could avoid the the rush hour on the busiest main throughfares - after all there are plenty of minor roads and side streets. The same goes for convenience stores such as Tesco Metro/Sainsbury Local/etc. Blocking up half the road whilst unloading shows a total lack of consideration for many of your customers an others! why didn't they park the patrol car round the corner and PROSECUTE the offenders?
Not enough of them to do it, around my town they use trafic wardens to frighten drivers away, but it only happens once in a few months
Received a NIP for 37 in a 30. I am RK but wasn't driving. Probably was wife but possibly daughter. I asked for photos and location details. Photos received only show back so no help. Location details provided by email show pdf map of road with arrow to one side. The email says this is the exact location of the van. The road is used frequently by all of us. The arrow corresponds exactly to a layby, when driving by it I noticed the view was completely different from police photo. Can tell the side of the road so direction of travel in relation to layby as white lines appear in police photo. I stated twice in emails the location was wrong and we were still unsure of driver. Also said their incorrect details were making it harder to identify as we the location advised is unreliable, direction of travel is unknown due to incorrect info meaning we cannot identify direction/destination of journey. No response to this point received so at 26 days I sent back NIP "can't identify", sent covering letter with photos/google maps/streetview proving their exact location is wrong and that it had made it harder to identify. Also said without location issue may have identified a driver to bring matter to close. Now I have sent it I am constantly nervous due to potential 6 points and large cost vs 3 and speed aware course. None of us have prev offences or court appearances. I keep trawling web but I would like advice on where I stand/ likely next step. Are they likely to drop this - wife not happy it may proceed to court. Pope v Clarke seems to help as we were misled by Police info (albeit not on NIP). I feel I can win in court but don't want it to go there really. I fail to understand why they couldn't clarify location and believe them providing wrong info is an obstruction to my steps to identify. I also gave them some details of the other steps checked, texts, emails etc but really hard to be sure of driver if we don't know where we were going and for what reason due to incorrect info from police. Any help appreciated. Read more

Hello
My annual mileage is low (6000) but my trips are usually in excess of 50 miles as they are just for leisure activities. I am about to buy a new car and the deals on the car I want are mostly diesel. Citroen Picasso/Berlingo. Taking into account the lifetime savings on low VED (before March)and the fact long trips would be better for the DPF and better mpg would diesel still be the best choice.
