Would it be possible to make a list of all real MPG figures available into a table to download?
Not necessarily for the whole list at one go, because that's many thousands of records, but for example, if I'm interested in petrol estate cars - could I download a list of the figures for all of these, such that I could compare them?... Read more

GD Designs Rochdale LTD Reviews (17) . I would rate 10 out of 10. Paula Bebb Read more
I'm a k****** fitter who has worked for Gd designs. They are an absolute tax evading shambles. They are really helpful until you pay the balance then they are rude, nasty or just ignore calls. They demand you pay the delivery driver cash. They refuse any kind of refund once you see the disgusting quality. They make you pay the fitters only in cash and then take nearly half in commission in cash off of them. I've seen customers waiting for a fitter for 2 months after delivery only to find half of it is missing and will take weeks to come into stock. Do not buy from this company! They will charge you 150 quid for the design alone. 250 quid for delivery. They will knowingly send half of the k****** to get full payment and then leave you in turmoil for weeks on end. I never came across one single happy customer once. The quality of the project is non existent
The designers show a completely different product to the one that's delivered. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
Even at the lowest recline, this seat sits almost upright meaning our newborns head just flops forward, this is a serious design failure of the seat and one that I cannot believe Joie with all of their experience in this field failed to recognise when this seat was developed.
The seat cost me £250 and I refuse to take my newborn out in it, I read online the suggestion of using some "wedge" to help with the problem or use some sort of aircraft pillow for babies to support the neck ... no you're OK Joie, why don't you design the seat properly for babies to lie at an incline instead.
Another drawback of this seat is that it's permanently fixed so you won't be able to unclip and use as a carry seat. Beware of that if it's important to you.
Sorry I can't be more positive about this product but I am absolutely livid at this point having bought the seat months in advance and only realising this dangerously flaw on installation. I should have been more diligent with my Google researching. Read more
Help needed trying to start an 05 plate Ford Fiesta Zetec 1.4.
The car started fine until the keys were left in it over night. So we tried to jump start it the next morning. No joy. When I turned it over, nothing happened at all - completely dead, so didn't continue trying to crank it.... Read more
Many thanks!

Hi all
It's been three weeks since the posts but finally got it into the garage after returning from holiday and it turned out to be failed ERG valve, broke up inside the housing garage said I may have noticed a little stuttering when pulling away that would be an early sign of it going anyway all fixed £150 and runs great.
Thanks for your help
Geoff
There are two scenarios that occur at different times for different durations. I haven't found a pattern.
1. Averaging 30mpg with associated torque/power loss of c.25%... Read more
Did you ever get to the bottom of what was causing your problems? My S40 1.8 has started doing the same thing, and I would appreciate some pointers as to where to start.

I've been using a 2010 Auris 1.4 petrol daily for the last year and it is very comfortable, roomy and well-equipped. Great positive steering, smooth ride, quiet. Only have to fill up every two weeks, with a 40 mile a day round trip. Not very fast of course, but British made, and somehow remniscient of a Triumph or Rover. Recommended.
Hi all I'm having an issue clearing a p0500 code on my 2001 toyota corolla. At last problem solved! It turned out to be the trip computer in the center of the dash managed to get one for a tenner second hand fitted reset the fault bingo job done but the wiring diagram in the repair manual makes no reference to the speed sensor running through the trip computer hope this may help someone else with a similar problem
A trusted garage fitted a new tyre [Continental ContiEco Contact 3, 175/65 x R14, 82T] just 2000 miles ago. There have been three separate instances of gradual air loss since then. Three fitters [different individuals on each occasion, one at another trusted garage] identified the problem as being leakage of air from the base of the valve itself, i.e. at the junction with the wheel. New valves were fitted each time. The steel wheel / rim is in good condition, with no visible signs of damage or deterioration that would affect seating of the tyre. The locking valve cap shows no indication of being tampered with.
Are you able to assist, please? Could vandalism be a possibility? Read more
Goto another tyre fitter and ask to replace the valve. I suspect the current one you using is using cheap defective batch of valves.
