>>These Astras were notorious for running cool due to an oversized radiator.

Don't all cars have oversized radiators? They wouldn't be able to provide adequate cooling in hot weather otherwise....

2011 BMW 1 series I want to change from run flats to regular. I worry about the low air sensor and having the right tires for the car. I would get one of those flat repair kits that come with a sme geneator and some gunk to seal a flat tire so I could drive a short distance. Or should a get a small (donut) and jack(If best idea) Regular tires(good quality) should last, they feel better on the road and are by far cheaper. I wnat to keep my car(after warranty) and I am trying to find a cheaper way of doing the tire thing, oil changes, repairs.

Any help on these items is greatly appreciated. I live in the Chandler Az area now so HELP if you can.... Read more

What does changing tires have to do with insurance? Warranty is over

Nothing to do with warranty....

Well it seems like only yesterday when I picked up yet another good priced vauxhall combo van for my electrical business(5 years now) from auction. And yet again it was a fantastic buy, got well over 120,000 miles out of her with hardly any complaints, just wish I had the same luck finding a wife with the same attributes.

Even though mine is still running really well it is looking a bit battered now so time to let her go )-:... Read more

I run an 2006 connect and find it a great drive and comfortable and to date has been no major problem.I do find it heavy on front tyres and don't seem to get more than 12k out of them, even using the original hankook factory fit. They are not the fastest van off the block, but it is an old fashioned engine design with a single overhead cam and 8 valves. For 3.3k you should be able to pick up a 2009 plus .Try to get one with a/c and electric pack, windows, mirrors and heated front screen.hth

Depends how it's driven too - people with poor on/off throttle/not looking ahead driving styles can get through a lot of fuel needlessly and the Mk4 is hardly a light car.

Hi all,

I've picked up a set of GTI wheels for my MK4 GT TDI (same wheel fitment 5X100) - the only problem is that the car has been severly lowered already, I don't want stock ride but would be happy for the GTI wheels to fit with a nice level of clearence.... Read more

I have extended nissan warranty and they want to charge me 509.72 to change cambelt, I am getting it done at our local garage which is VAT registered for £250 but the nissan service team said that I am now not covered under my warranty for any problems in the future with my engine, surely this is not correct with the new law in 2003 . Any advice anyone Read more

Why buy the warranty if you are not going to obey the conditions of it?

At least you bought a main dealer extended warranty! If you have not had the work done yet, go back to the dealer and get it done there....

I have to change tyres after only 30000 kms, the current tyres I am not fond of for several reasons, Continental Premium Contact 2 195/50/15.

I want to buy some Goodyear efficient grip but on special they have them only with rim protect; my car doesn't have alloy wheels, can I use them on steel rims? and could it pose a problem with the factory wheel covers; which incidentally have never fitted all that well against the rim.... I'd have a look at a Mwecedes C class, there is a good choice about and you don't have a cam belt to worry about. out of your 3 the Mazda looks interesting.
