Mitsubishi UK Offers This isn't a new offer for the Shogun as it's been offered at this price for some time but it's still stonking value for a proper off roader that can actually do the business off road well worth a look Read more

Hi all. I am set on buying the above and found out yesterday that a new version is being released in June.
My question when should I buy the present model to get the best discount? I've read the new model is likely to be the same price so I feel I need to get a good discount. How much should I be looking for? Thanks. Read more
Thanks everyone, particularly Toblerone for your up to date VW purchasing info. The dealer did tell me that they would be be plenty of discount to be had in the next few months and mentioned the 1k off etc.
I bought my Seat Ibiza through on an online broker and found it a great way to buy a car but my last car I got the best deal through the local dealer. I definitely got the impression that the VW dealership wanted the sale whereas when I tried to get a deal on the Seat they could hardly be bothered to speak to me. ...

The wife's Mk1 Audi TT is starting to show its age (13 years, 100K) and things are starting to go wrong.... Read more
It could be that a TT might in time become a bit of a "classic" anyway. Might be a very smart move keeping it long term.
You could, if space allows, semi-retire it maybe and just get a runabout spare something-or-other to use as and when....
Have a intermitent issue with a vw lupo one litre. the car has a new battery. when leaving the car the battery can go flat in a day. sometimes it can be left and it charges ok. the battery is good and it starts up.
carried out some checks after a flat battery and the alternator was pushing out just over 12.5volts. this was witht he battery completly flat and jump starting the car.... Read more
Presumably you must be charging the battery from an external source as it certainly wont start the car with 1.5 volts, if you disconnect it does the voltage come up to 12 v pretty quickly, if not your battery is u/s. A fault alternator can be responsible for discharging the battery so I would get that sorted out first.
Hi, I was hoping somebody may have had a similar experience and could maybe give me a bit of advice? I purchased a car in August and had lots of issues with it from day one, when I found it needed a new turbo I got a report from Audi and rejected the car. They ignored all my phone calls and letters so I applied to the small claims court. I stopped driving the car the day I sent the letter rejecting it and took a photo of the mileage with the date. I can now now file Judgment by Default as they never responded to the claim but I'm worried as I'm claiming £7000 for a car I still have in my possession. I really don't want to hand the car over to the garage until I have my £7000 back (I'm guessing it will go to the bailiffs to recover the money. Any advice welcome! Read more
Hi
DO NOT drive the car as you say you rejected it....

These really do suffer with failures as stated above , but also suffer with random loss of oil pressure and piston failure. I have seen many of these with piston failure that hasn't been caused by an injector fault.
Shame really because the Transit is a good design with a weak engine which Ford need to address.
