hi all. just bought a 2001 allroad but the front suspension won't go up and or level out, theres no air in the front bags, any ideas? im hoping its not a costly fix. cheers, matthew Read more
hi where is the control valve located as mine seems to be sticking works fine then doesnt and suspension is all over the place.

Does anybody know please how to disconnect one of these pesky pipes - the plastic squares either side of ours have snapped off, revealing washers underneath. No amount of pulling/pushing combinations work. We do have a pair of specially designed pliers to use, but can't see how this will help.

I have just had my aircon recharged (first time since new 4yr) using a Texa Konfort machine (fully automated) The report shows, 520g recycled, 1g oil recycled. Oil Injection 1cc UV Injection 5cc, AC Fill 500gram The manufacturer states a gas amount of 450g +/- 25gram. Is there any other explination (other than the system was overfilled in the first place), to collect 520grams from a system that should be no more than 475g, Is a 500gr charge likely to cause a problem? French cars rarely have an a/c charge quantity sticker under the bonnet.The gas charge is fairly critical ,that is why the makers give around a 5% margin .Too much gas in the system is the same as not enough and the system will not operate efficiently.hth

Rear wheel cylinder leak from what you say,would be advisable to replace both as they usually go together or the other wont be far behind,
with the switch if you have power to it,it must be a faulty switch but check all cables are ok to the connector in case of faulty wire
A while ago I asked for recommendations as to a replacement engine for my Shogun. Honest John recommended API engines, so I duly contacted them and months later finally recieved a 'fully checked low mileage engine, with new rings, shells, chains etc'

i have a renault scenic 1.9dci (54) plate which is struggling to start, when started will not tick over and seems to be only running on 3 cylinders, at high revs it runs fine but when at low revs it cuts out and struggles to restart, any help would be most appreciated please Read more
Replaced 8 alternators in 3 years thinking it was a elictric fault but with a light on the dash and the cars manual its saying aiming to do wif airflow which brings me to the egr value is this anything to do with the alternator or where does it get its airflow from.
