Mini convertible advertised as having air con, checked all details inc. this with salesperson also. Took delivery, read handbook, car doesnt have air con. Mini dealer said they had informed me (they hadnt) and offered £75 mini merchandise. Wrote letter asking for air con to be installed, find car the same with air con for exchange or refund commensurate with missing option. Telephoned today offered either £200 or return car to them by the end of the week. This would leave with no car. Said air con cant be fitted now and wont offer to find a car to exchange. If the car is fitted wth abs,then there should be a yellow warning light that illuminates when ignition is first switched on with an abs or anti-skid symbolhth
Have recently purchased a 2010 Mondeo Hatchback. The rear windscreen washer jet is very good at washing the road not the windscreen ! Anyone any ideas on how to align it ? Using a pin results in a bent pin ! Using a stronger needle results in a broken needle !

My Nokia 6303 has been working fine with the ford bluetooth,but,no longer.Eventhough the screen states connected to ford audio on switch on, no functions are working thru the ford system.I have repaired and it has confirmed connection but when a call comes through its through the mobile only,i cant dial through the ford audio buttons either...!!! but vodafone does come up on the radio screen..any help please.

Try with another phone if that works then its probably a faulty phone if it doesn't then its probably a faulty car unit.
I have an intermittent non start sometimes when I return to the vehicle after a short period with no noises or crank. Have been told it may be the immobiliser. Does anyone know if the ignition coil pack would show this problem if it was faulty? Read more

Spotted a car I want being sold with the fitted mouldings at the sides, front and back. The mouldings are not part of the standard kit of that model.

I think that Honda glass is a bit soft. After two hard winters of scraping ice of the windscreen, the windscreen on my 2008 CRV is badly scratched. I successfully polished out a deep scratch on my Bristol 406 (replacement glass for these is like hen's teeth) using one of the kits with the polishing mop on a drill mentioned earlier. I'm going to give my CRV screen a go with the kit. If you are going to do this, mask off the rest of the car and wear some old clothes as the polish gets everywhere!

Even my hospital appointments for regular check ups with the Rhumotology clinic have been cut and then the Doc puts me on cheaper version of tablets which has caused no end of problems then the Doc doesn't want to send me to the clinic because it comes out of his budget but when I ring the clinic they say my Gp needs to refer me otherwise it comes out of their budget !!!!!
Can they send me to Guantanamo for a year, can't be any worse then being bounced around in the NHS and at least i could claim compensation by the Million and afford to go private then! Read more

Can anyone give me a step-by-step guide to removal of the screenwash resevoir which is located in front of the drivers side wheel arch (I think I can work out how to clean it out myself once I get it to the kitchen sink). Is it necessary to remove the bumper assembly in the 2006 model variant or is there an easier way to access the resevoir? Read more
I cleared a blocked screenwash by blowing air back through the pipework. If you can disconnect the tubing at a joint and get hold of something to blast some air back down the system you may clear the muck from the filter. Then stick a hosepipe into the washer bottle and give that a flush out.
