You should check to see when the Inspection checks are required and that any necessary stamps are/have been put in the service booklet....
I have an a6 3.0tdi quattro, when shifting from 2nd to 1st it ocasionally will be slightly rough, do you think I should get the fluid changed? its done 80k & is a 2005. Its not multichronic or DSG. Thanks Read more

the engine ecu will need a re-flash (sps) as far as i am aware dealer only unless you can find a local independant that can do it, Regards Tb

Someone might have set it to autolock above 7mph? I did that to the Mondeo I had but turned it off before it went back to the lease company.
The car starts ok but then stalls. If I keep my foot on the gas it will idle and once warm its ok it will idle ok and it remains fine all day unless I leave five or six hours

Try pumping the primer until hard before starting, if it then starts OK you have an air leak.

Hi. I have read the msg on the Bora. I have a Golf TDI with a limp mode problem. I have changed the mass airflow meter my car does not over boost it has a in-car boost gauge and holds fine it has a new turbo on a year ago.
There is no leaks on the pipes they are on the correct way the only thing on my mates PC it shows the temp reading at 53 deg when in car reads 90 deg and when you rev the car it goes down a little on the pc so i no the temp sensor is faulty is this enough to cause limp home mode?... Read more

Double check with Motability when they will stop taking your Motability allowance and when you have to give the car back... when you have that date as a definite then go and see the dealer you intend to buy from and tell them you would like your car to be delivered on that date...
Then keep your fingers, toes, etc. crossed that they will do that and not renage on you!...
