Sorry if any of this is repeated in earlier posts, but a decision has actually been made this time.

We've decided to look for a Honda Jazz to replace our B Max. Nothing particularly wrong with the car at this moment in time, but the problems with this model are too well documented to bother with repeating here. ... Read more

Well, he didn't manage to track down any Honda history, so the search goes on.

Shame, because it was a much nicer colour in the metal than it looked in the advert. ;0)...

My daily driving has now dropped to 4 x 2mile journeys. Up to now I haven't experienced any problems with the dpf unit. The engine is rated as a Euro 6. Whats best, a weekly longer journey or look at a petrol car? Read more

I would suggest one reasonable run a month at that sort of mileage should keep the DPF happy, unfortunately there is no guarantee the thing will perform a regen during this time, it could decide to start one 300 yrds from your house as you return from an hour's journey...and there lies the flaw in the current DPF design in cars, no one has a clue whats going on...in lorries its different the state of play can be displayed on the OBC and a regen manually triggered on at least some vehicles.

You'd have thought the car makers would have sorted this 'no blighter has a clue what's going on' situation by now, they desverve nothing but abuse for their apathy.

My rear washer jet seems to be blocked on my 2015 GTC, the fronts work ok and when trying the rear I can hear the noise of the pump working. It used to work until a couple of weeks ago so I'm guessing its blocked.

I've tried cleaning with a pin but to no avail, its not that common a car so no Haynes manual so I'm wondering if anyone here had taken one of these out before? I wonder if it can be removed from the outside or whether all of the bootlid trim needs to come off first. Read more

Are you sure that it hasn't frozen up and forced the pipe off somewhere?

Dunno whether I'm exceeding my authority here, but I've noticed that when people put up links to vehicle auction sites they often feature what I assume to be the poster's postcode.

Given the dangers from online fraud, scamming and identity theft, it might be an idea (if the site will allow you to do this) to clear your postcode details before posting the link. Read more

There is some good advice. I share your concerns.

They track people via cookies. Now they are storing stuff called 'file system' objects. On my browser, I notice is deletes the cookes when I clear my cache, but not the file system objects. I don't know if this is the same for other web browsers, because you don't know that it has really done. ...

Its an older car, but perhaps someone can offer a suggestion:

The passenger side front door does not lock at the same time as all the other doors. You can lock and unlock all the others by turning the key in the driver's door - but the passenger door needs to be locked/unlocked by itself. Any solutions ?... Read more

Either the actuator (motor) in the door is fubar, or the wiring to the motor is... Door card off, check wiring with multimeter, if ok, then motor at fault. Replace or possibly repair.

Not sure whether this should be in technical or discussion, but no doubt it'll be moved if it shouldn't be here.

Yes, although if you google Planet Owners Map or visit frenchcarforums, you will find someone competent with the equipment local to you who can reset them.
