Code p0191 frp, my car starts when sensor is frp sensor is unplugged but not when it is plugged in, its in limp with orange cog sign, can someone shed light on this as its getting tiring and i dont get how it starts without the fuel pressure sensor plugged in, could it be a broken sensor as wiring seems ok when tested 5v across, ps this has had new engine in and ive tried my old engine frp sensor on the plug and same engine wont start with it in, is theyre anyway i can test the sensor itself. Hi Everyone,
I am trying to establish if it is possible to get a code for my Ford Focus serial CZH198570. Links to various unlocking software for serials beginning with a "C" do not seem to work.
Much appreciated if anyone can help either with live software link or code in question before I go to main dealer

Hi guys,
looking for some help with diagnosing an issue on my BMW 330i N53.
I have recently had a rough idle/misfire problem on my car, i replaced the spark plugs in an attempt to try and solve the issue, however i had to swap back to the old ones as i purchased the wrong plugs, i did notice that the bank 1 plugs were very sooty, also the misfires are occurring in cylinders 1 to 3, mainly cylinder 3.
Anyway i put the car back together and left it how it was, i then had the engine light come on with a P0430 code (Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 2)) and so i then logged the O2 sensors, here are the graphs for bank 1 and 2 respectively:
s30.postimg.org/3lds154f5/Bank_1_Cat.png
s9.postimg.org/fug2ydwjj/Bank_2_Cat.png
It seems strange that I'm having issues with bank 1 but the fault code that could cause the issues I'm having is with bank 2.
Could it be just coincidence?
What do you guys think? Read more

I picked up what they call "paint protection" from eBay at a good price. It's the Diamondbrite stuff that dealers often try and flog you on new cars for a few hundred extra. Only a few quid on eBay. I quite like it, easy to apply and gives a good shine.
Then I thought, how does it compare to other stuff I've tried before, so had a rummage in the garage and then tried to do a scientific test. They are all different categories of products, i.e. polish, wax and paint protection/sealant, but these are all in the same (cheapish) price band and all the sort of stuff that the average joe picks up to keep our cars shining a bit longer.
I made a couple of youtube videos if anyone is interested:

The comparison and test video is just against what I happened to have in my garage. I'm not saying there aren't better alternatives out there. (Some people go on about nano polymers, ceramics, blah, blah, but for the price the Diamaondbrite is better than what else I've got, especially Mer)

Interesting comments on wax and paint protection. I have used the HD Wax from Autoglym before as it gives good protection.
Ceramic Coating last a lot longer than wax's, so i guess it depends on personal choice and budget. The Autoglym HD Wax is supposed to last for 50 washes but i guess it depends a lot on where your car is stored. A best guess i would say 3 or 4 months bodywork protection before i would need to re-apply the wax again.
Ceramic coatings give better protection but there is a lot of preperation involved, saying that, some last for 5 years which is great if you plan on keeping the car....
Ok, I just bought a 2004 (old) focus 1.8 tdci. I have a problem with the wipers. When I pull the wiper stalk towards me which should give a wash and wiper, I just get the squirt and no wipe (pretty dangerous). When I push the button on the end of the stalk I get a squirt at the rear screen and wipe at the front! I'm guessing it's a crossed wires matter.
Any advice would be greatly received, I'm no mechanic so please be as straight forward as possible. Huge thanks Read more

The smart fortwo (previews one) i think has a relatively reliable automated manual.
The RoadHawk HD is an excellent camera, I've had one for 3 years with no issues. The HD2 however is an entirely different story. The footage at Super HD is superb, however I've now had 3, yes THREE cameras fail after a week of use and refusing to power on.
Speaking to RoadHawk they acknowledge an issue with the firmware and say an upgrade to 3.7 will stop it happening. My third camera I upgraded following their instructions, lo and behold after a week that stopped powering on too.
Such as shame, seeing has as the HD has proved itself to be a most reliable product. I shall be looking to other manufacturers from now on, the HD2 is hopeless. Read more

Hi I had a stressful in the last 2 weeks problem with my Punto 1.9JTD 84,000 miles on the clock year 53 Reg, I was try to sell but the warning light come on speedometer yellow icon coil with error code P0380 Glow Plug/Heater Circuit "A" Malfunction. But the light flash for 10 second then it go off, the engine start fine no struggle or rough idle. I have took it to Chelmsford Fiat dealer to find out the problem. At afternoon had phone call from them to said they have not got a clue what is wrong with this car as they check glow plugs by something call multimeter is fine and relay is function fine, the loom was terrible condition so they swap for new one but still flash same code. Makes me think they are not good service garage so I try other Bury St Edmunds Fiat dealer other day. I had a phone call from them, they explain exactly same story at the pervious Chelmsford dealer which they don't really know cause of this and he said same problem on 1.9JTD 8v engine from Vauxhall, Saab, Alfa that he had been deal with P0380 before most of those have not solved problem. I went to make new appointment Auto vehicle electrical workshop near my home, nice chap he was try very hard to find the cause of P0380 still not find, he said may relation to EGR valve clot up or water coolant thermostat sensor fault because that share same wire to relay mount But is that true?... Thanks Doc, but it would appear this is beyond my ability for car maintenance.
Thanks anyway, sorry I'm a complete novice.

I put new fuel rail sensor on and live data said 1395-1400 psi on ignition and 1405 psi on cranking. Is this high or low,
