I'd be interested to hear the "people's verdict" on this one.
The car seems to be parked partially on the pavement in picture 1, but in a different place with a different ground surface in picture 2, so it's not completely clear. Neither photo seems to depict what most people would call a "driveway", but whatever it is, the car is substantially parked on it and, after 14 years, it has suddenly become an issue. Cast your votes now!

Yes its a pity they can't fit two cars on their now paved frontage, but one has to manage with what one has, presumably as others in the road have.

Smoke came out of passenger front door card. That smell was of a burning circuit board. Pulled fuse for the window.. Will it be just the window motor or will it be the motor and the circuit board for the motor. Is there any way to check what is faulty before I take the door card off.
Thanks Read more

purchased 2year old citigo on february one year left on the warranty, after a few weeks i have had alot of problems trying to engage reverse gear first to second this can be awkward in some situations, the dealership says it is a feature as opposed to a designe fault, i was not made aware in any literature on the car, of this feature, has anybody out ther found similar problems i am very diappointed it was not pointed out before i bought the car, the dealership checked the car out and said that nothing was wrong, iwas told to double clutch, or force the car into gear, any opinions on this. jockboy 17 03 16 Read more

hi thanks for that, i was begining to think it was all down to my driving, it seems that other owners may be experienscing some gearbox problems, not good for such a new car, thanks for the reply. jockboy.

A new battery at £5000 would be bad new for many (and more than 3 years worth of petrol), and I dont think they sell many for this reason. Electric are not really main stream as there are to many issues. A plugin hybrid would make more sense if you do a reasonable amount of town driving.

Just phoned up about this car. www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ford-Focus-1-8-TDCi-Ghia-Estate...I

When I spoke to them about it I found out the so called new cambelt was fitted at 99,000 milles and the new clutch & flywheel at about 119,000 miles. What planet are these people on? No wonder I never buy a used car from a used car dealer. I only phoned because it is not far from me. Read more

Ad designed to fool the average punter who knows little about cars except that they are expensive to repair. Most would never query the description the way the op did (to his credit), they would accept the wording at face value. The ad is intentionaly misleading to inflate its perceived value.

Agreed - surprised so may people find it an acceptable advert

Dual clutch transmission has been withdrawn on the Focus sold in Australia but the Mondeos still have it I think. Mind you the latest Mondeo is not selling well in Aust. Sales are less than the previous model. It is up against the Mazda 6 and the Subaru Liberty which cost much the same but have very much better resale values.

The coil packs over heat and melt. You will have to check the date range for this issue, but basically a modification should have been installed to prevent the problem.

Hi .. I bought a second hand car and taxed it on the 27th July last year. DVLA have sent me a reminder that it needs to be taxed on 30th June (this month) this year. Does this mean that by bringing this forward I am paying for an extra 27 days?
