Been promised for some time now looks about to happen.
Yet another rip off by motorway service stations. they will do whatever they can to get as much as possible out of the humble motorist. it is not unusual to see prices of items like sweets or crisps costing twice as much as in a supermarket. the only items they cannot charge what they want for is newspapers or any item with a price on them. i believe that ALL packaging should have a price on them to stop this racketeering. they should also not be able to charge much higher prices for fuel than the national average (which excludes motorway service areas) Read more

Why did you not park properly would be my thought.
BMW driver - exempt from traffic laws, indicating, parking between white lines etc etc...
Had an accident a couple of weeks ago. Drivers side wing, lights and wheel crunched and bonnet had minor damage. Just tried aircon and it's not working. Haven't had it on since the summer so don't know if it could be caused by accident or not. What should I do, don't want it to seem dodgy if a call insurance. Thoughts please Read more
Give the insurance a ring and tell them you have had the car back after repairs and found the a/c not working.I am sure they will fix it free of charge.Defo worth a call.
The water pressure on my washer jets is quite feeble. It seems to have been after the cold spell we just had (2015). Weirdly though, the pressure corrects itself if you open the bonnet and activate the jets.

Looks like there is a spilt in the pipe between the bonnet and the sound insulation, off to the garage...
Hi
I have recently had what seems to be a minor cardiac event. The consultant dealing with the case has banned me from driving for six months. I did not lose consciousness during the event but was only breathless / sweaty for around fifteen minutes minutes. I was driving at the time and pulled safely into a layby.... Read more
Cardiac conditions can be difficult to diagnose, particularly when they're intermittent.
Despite a collapse requiring ambulance and 24 hours hospitalisation, nothing specific was found for me - subsequent 24 pulse/BP recording showed nothing so not until I had a "reveal" implanted in my chest and subsequently checked was it found that my heart "forgets" to beat sometimes....
First time doing at that speed and noticed the steering wheel was slightly shake travelling around 80-87 mph then I eased off the accelerator however when I test it again there was none. I'm not sure if the roads can cause this sort of effect as it wasn't a smooth motorway road but a bit rigged. Read more

If you were caught doing that speed you would have more than wheel wobble worry about. Max limit in the UK is 70 mph you know....
I have just taken my, perfectly running, C30 1.6 Drive into the local Volvo approved delearship for 100k service.
I was informed that, in addition to normal service, I had a leaking injector seal and was advised to have it replaced.
On driving home, I found the car to be juddering in 4th and 5th gear at lowish revs. I called the garage back and was told that I would need to bring it back in - time to be agreed.
30 minutes later they called back to tell me that the technician's report said car juddering in 4th and 5th due to lack of compression due to crbon build-up [But this wasn't noted on the payment invoice]. This would require a head-off decoking, which would take a week and cost ~£1000.
Can anyone advise why a perfectly running car on replacement of an injector seal, would now run badly and require a further £1000 work?
