...if it goes out when you disconnect the terminal the alternator has a fault but it will cost you a new one to put it out. Stick a bit of tape over it.
Our Panda went in for a service and the front wiper motor had stopped working. The garage said they had fixed it by taking the rear motor and putting it in the front. This does not seem possible unless they have the same fittings.
Is there anyone out there who knows if they are interchangeable and where I can now source a rear motor.... Read more
The Panda has a single wiper front and rear, so maybe it is possible. And the garage say that's what they've done, so assume it is. As for where to get a new one, ECP have them for £62.40. Or find one from a scrappie.

Isn't that what thick underseal is for?
Actually it isn't that thick, the subframes/suspension/exposed underbody have had rust converter solution (where rust was showing), followed by epoxy paint, followed by spraying inside and out with appropraite Bilt Hamber's underbody coatings, from the note on the MOT you'd think i'd trowelled the stuff on so thick it formed an impenetrable undertray.
Hi I needed a new 2 button fob for my Peugeot and im having trouble taking key blade out of old fob, and im guessing the same when it goes into new fob as that has a blank key in it .Any ideas. Thanks Read more
The key blade is either a click fit in the fob body or there is a tiny screw securing it.However for the new fob to work,it will need programming to the car.

The fuses may look ok/intact,but is there any power at the contacts?Use a test light or multi-meter.
My car has been stolen. Insurance company wants copy of my driving license. However my driving license has my old address on it. Will this effect my claim or make my insurance invalid? It is a fully comprehensive policy. My car is registered to the same address as the insurance policy. Read more
It MIGHT cause you problems. If, for example, you've moved but just forgot to put your licence in for the address change, then it shouldn't be a problem.
BUT, if you've done it deliberately : for example you live at the licence address, but you have been putting down another address as where you keep the car (for example as its a lower crime area, and thus lower risk, and thus cheaper insurance), then you might find your policy being cancelled, for attempting to defraud them.
