I think the 3 letter engine code is crucial and some like AWX were the last to have the Bosch injectors, 5 speed manual but I don't think they were in the T5. Check out wiki
Is it possible to fit a decent sounding horn to my Fabia estate. The current one sounds as though it is apologising for complaining rather than emphasising my frustration at some example of poor driving. A lorry one would be brilliant, but probably impractical. Read more
There's plenty on ebay and Amazon (perhaps the latter would be better as reviews can be seen).
Some of the best horns I've heard on a production car were those fitted to K11 Micras. You might be able to source some from a scrapyard.
I have just bought my 2nd. Rav. There is no key for the locking wheel nuts.

Hi Everyone,
I am interested in buying a used mini cooper. I have seen one with the following spec for £9990. Its from a main mini dealer and registered may 2010. What do you think of the price? What sort of discount can i expect to get from a mini dealer?... Read more
Toyota warranties are transferable as well.

Hi all.
Just had DPF failure on my Mazda 6 which is all i needed with a new baby in the house! Took it to our local mazda dealer and it was going to cost silly money to get sorted (car not under warranty). Done some research on the web and found this guy who removed the whole DPF system and reprogrammed for £350! Was well pleased.
Thanks again Colin Read more
XXXX advertise on this site just seen one of their adverts.
(Edit - well then, they get what they pay for, not extra publicity in the forum itself.)
I had all the cylinder coils and plugs changed earlier this year, 1400E then a few months later the engine started to miss; a pipe had come loose which supplies air to the motor 170E. Recently they wanted to check the transfer case oil level as there is a winter only oscillating grinding noise from the drivetrain 270E Since then there is burning plastic like smell from the engine, the temperature is half on the guage and the car seems to heat up super fast in the space of only 8 minutes. They refuse now to look at the car because they are no longer Jaguar dealers, but can only work on new vehicles under warranty. (something I was told of just prior to the last visit.) but they agreed to take it.
I find all of this very strange, not only the smell but their attitude, any idea what the problem could be?... Read more
There is another reason why someone won't fit parts sourced from somewhere else. If they are faulty, poor quality, 'counterfeit' etc then when you've paid for them to be fitted you'll expect the 'fitter' to take responsibility for them. From an IT background I wouldn't expect us to fit parts that are supplied by customers either. It may appear harsh but it isn't.
yeh but how long will this last before they start to hike up the prices again Read more
