toyota rav 4 2002 diesel - Wheel locknuts. - charlesp.

I have just bought my 2nd. Rav. There is no key for the locking wheel nuts.

Have tried previous owner etc. Can I buy a universal key.? or is there a solution to my problem.?? Any advice would be welcome. Thanks. Friends. charlesp.

A good tyre depot should remove them for you I suggest you buy some new ones first.Failing that you can remove them with a hamered on socket or there are removal tools available on the internet.

Yes, a tyre dealer or Toyota main dealer will have the means to get them off.

The storeman in our local dealer(not Toyota)has a complete set of all the locking nuts used on that make of car-when you've identified the one you need,he'll order it.
