I've just had my 59 plate Audi A3 in for a replacement headlight due to a DRL (LED) failure. I've heard a rumour (as you do) since that Audi know this is a fault and are replacing a lot of these. As the replacement cost me close to £500 (Self levelling Xenon variety) I was wondering if it would be worth pursuing this any further with Audi for a goodwill gesture? Thanks in advance. Read more

There does appear to be some conflicting thoughts here.
For what use did Vauxhall intend the Insignia? If it was mainly reps on motorways, rear leg room is the last thing to worry the drivers. Since reps quite happily managed with much smaller cars in the past, we know it's not internal space that is needed....
I bought a Transit Connect from a dealer in February 2013. The asking price was £3600. The was some body damage (dents to two doors and a substantial spattering of paint in the carg area) I asked for a discount and the dealer reduced the price by £200.

So you bought a van having been told by the dealer that "there would be no warranty" and wrote on the invoice "Trade Sale no warranty" but you are now surprised when the dealer declines to pay for repairs.

I purchased my Golf new 6 months ago and after 9000 miles and weekly cleaning, all 4 disc brake hubs are showing extensive and unsightly rust/corrosion. Not what I expected from a shiny new VW.

Why doesnt the OP just whip the wheels off, quick tickle with some wire wool, wash down with brake cleaner and then apply protective coat of his choosing. Paint it a garish colour to give it full chav credibility even....
