On a Clio from what you describe it will most likely be a knackered coil. I think that it has four individual pencil coils rather than a single coil pack.
A BBC News report:
Whilst driving back from Germany was going through Belgium and I must say they have got to be some of the worst drivers in Europe.
Recently I had a tour of the Morgan Factory and really believe that some new management is required since the company has now based more of its future on the 3wheel type rather than the 4 wheel models.
The history and dependence by the local community on the future of Morgan is imperiative if there is to be a future. Leaving Mr Morgan on the Board maybe important but the real problem is to get a different perspective on how to capitalize on the Brand, Staff, and Reputation of Morgan is more important than the family continuing to run the company. For instance look at Ford it has taken an outsider to the automobile industry and a nonfamily member to make the turnaround. Read more
Does the company really need a turnaround, it has a niche market with the traditional four wheeler for which there is still a demand. To do a "Harvey Jones" would not work as personally
I don't think there is a market for a large number of the marque
to be produced apart from the fact that being hand built keeps the selling price high in comparison with other marques. Peter Morgan kept the brand a float and Charles introduced the Aero
for modernisation. I think the balance is currently correct, the company is solvent and you know what happens when you change something that works? Fortunately I have been driving
Morgan's since a long time and feel I've
seen the best of British sports cars in that time. Kept to the same format the company will continue until cars become
obsolete, to change now will be the "death knell" of the company as those members of the MSCC know it now.
Hello
A friend has just aquired a 2007 hyundai coupe. The interior switches illuminate blue. Does anyone know if the 5 switches that operate the air con, heated screen rear heated screen and recirculation buttons ( there are 5 in total) at the bottom of the centre console should all light up blue as at the moment only the centre button which is the rear defog button lights up blue, we are not sure if this is a fault or they are all like this.... I am very shortly going to a track day driving experience. I have the choice of a Ferrari F430, Lamborghini Gallardo, Porsche 911 Turbo, Audi R8, Aston Martin DB9 or a Maserati Gran Turismo. Which would you choose? Maybe you have already been to one of these events. I am erring to the Ferrari/Maserati/Porsche.

I've done 2 driving experiences one at Elvington where the track was marked out with cones and one at Prestwold on a proper track. I enjoyed both but Prestwold was far better.
One tip avoid booking early, the closer you get to the date the prices come down, also get a package with as many cars as you can afford. You don't get long on the track and it takes a couple of goes to get some confidence.
Elvington was 6thgearexperience, Prestwold was Everyman Racing.

BG raises it's fuel prices and the Government advice is to switch to another supplier.
Usual problem is that is as soon as you switch, that company pushes its charges up inline with the others. What can we do as consumers to hit back at them. We can't go without as they've got us by the short and curlies.... Read more
Do Finns drink too much vodka or something?
(Answer: probably. I gather alcohol-related deaths rank very highly over there.)

Having bought and been very pleased with a Citroen C2 LX 1.1 and later a Mazda 2 TS2 after reading the complimentary reviews on HJ, I decided to follow like advice to replace the Michelin Energy Saver tyres on my wife's C2.
The tyres have performed admirably and I was going to replace them with the same but after reading some HJ tyre reviews purchased Goodyear Vector All Seasons.... Read more
