Could anyone recommend a good diagnostic tool? Ideally one I could read into the dpf (not necessarily for forced regeneration) just blocked/partially blocked/air flow...
I also have citroen DS4 diesel 18months old. Read more
We've been looking for a new car to replace a 15 year old Corsa and want something cheap to run but also something that looks a bit different and so have been interested in the Chevrolet Spark. Has anyone here had any experience with it - likes/dislikes?
Water is leaking from the blower into the footwells of the Saxo and I've been advised to firstly try some radiator leak additive, does this actually work and is it a permanent repair if it does, or should I be guarded to a replacement matrix being inevitable eventually.
Should the matrix need to be replaced does it involve removing the whole dashboard for access, and can anyone advise on that process and how long would it take.... Read more

I didn't change my 99 1.6's belt until 100,000. After that at 140,000. I have never suffered from your cut out problem.

Hi,
it's first time I ve posted on here hope someone can help
I brought through eBay sharan 2.0 tdi sport 2006 test drove it it seemed fine so I paid the guy and left to come home I was about 200 miles from home.when I done about 40 miles it started over heating pulled over checked no water in expansion bottle luckily had some big bottle of water with us so put it in drove ok for about another 40 miles started to over heat again so I rang the guy who sold it to me I asked him to be straight with as I ve broke down on moterway and it's middle of the night he assured me he knew nothing about overheating, any way calked aa had to be towed away next day in my local garage mechanic found that thermostat had holes drilled in it so we replace it with new one I will get straight to point
New thermostat
Water pump and timing belt
New expansion bottle with cap
Fresh anti freeze
He said he also flushed the system
And the head is ok no oblivious signs
And it still overheats after about 15 to 20 miles and it seems to draw the water in from expansion bottle and as soon as I open lid comes back up
Any clues what it might be

Had a new 1.2 as a rental recently for a couple of days and it was quite fun to drive. Ride's a bit crashy and handling a bit understeery, but the engine is very willing if a little raucous.
Throttle response on the one I had was razor sharp, don't know if it's a fly-by-wire throttle but the tiniest brush of the pedal had the revs soaring. As a result the car's very nippy in urban traffic and quite happy to cruise at 80-odd....
