Diesel at £1.40 a litre costs me £50 for 2 weeks....
I replaced my 1.8 NA engine(58 hp) cambelt. I got a gates kit, and the new belt is not as wide as the Motorcraft belt from Ford. Also, it is fitted too close to the pulley edge inward and the belt gets hot under operation.Is this normal?

Hello there, i have just paid £373 to ford garage for the DPF and now a few weeks later the turbo has gone. Please help the car is working out very expensive, and by reading the threads, and being a student I don't think i will be able to afford it. Can you please advise what to do, the rac said the rattling noise are the bearings and he opened it up and showed me, i had not driven very far and just returned home and parked up. Please advise me if the ford garage , while doing the dpf could of caused the turbo to o so quick.

Hi I have a budget of £5-7k and I'm really lost in what car to buy. I have 2 cars in mind: seat Leon tdi fr 170 or Honda civic 2.2ctdi ex.
Not sure please help.
Both are very nice cars and have good reviews. I personally haven't test driven any of the 2.
