My Fiesta 1.4 TDCi (05 plate) 58,000 miles covered is making a whooshing noise when accelerating from about 1700rpm. This has only started since all four injector seals were replaced and I noticed this noise as soon as I drove home. The garage have checked all hoses are tight but the noise is still there and I think there is a slight loss of acceleration.

When my wifes C3 is stood without the engine running or key turn on the back washer pump will come on every couple of minutes. I have removed the fuse for the back washer pump and you can hear a relay (maybe) click on and off which I have assumed is the course of the problem. How do a fix this? The magic additive/snake oil may or may not be linked to the failure cause! Difficult to tell from the information given.

must be an air leak, i would suggest they carry out a test with a leak Detector, iether an ultrasonic one or smoke generator. these find the smallest of leaks in seconds.
