Does anybody know where I can get a front drivers side fog lamp for a Mitsubishi Grandis Warrior (apart from the obvious official Mitsubishi spares dept @ £130). There are a few advertised on the internet but seem to be for Outlander and are too small. It's only actually the glass that's gone but I think they come as a unit.
A name of a website or a part number to Google would be a help.... Read more

If you can't see a leak its likely that the head gasket is leaking and pressurising the cooling system, blowing the water out of the overflow.

Early morning doing the school / work run.
Waiting at a busy roundabout, the vehicle entering from the preceeding turning lit a nearside light as doing so. Something "clicked" upstairs and I started the process of pulling out. It passed the exit and kept coming, I stopped and looked again, wondering what had caused the "Ok to set off" reaction, expecting to see that the silly SOB had indicated.... Read more
I read the OP as saying it was off, then went on (and presumably then went off).

Hello all
In September i had a very minor car incident on a country land in
Cornwall. Narrow road my car and another had a little squeeze and
there was a little damage to both vehicles.
2 insurance adjusters came out to see my car and view the damage....
that was over 4 weeks ago and i had heard nothing. I was working in
Dublin for that period and thus did not need my car. However on my
return i called the insurance company to see why i had had no contact
from them and why my car had not been taken away for the work to be
done.
I was told my insurance had been suspended because they discovered i
had modified the vehicle without telling them and therefore my
insurance is invalid! i have a Rav 4 which has tinted windows in the
rear... it came like this 2nd hand from a dealer. Apparently the
windows are not standard i didnt know that and that if i had informed them at the time
of insuring that i had tinted windows they would have not insured me.
I find this a bit ridiculous to say the least and am at a loss as to
what to do.
I genuinely did not mislead them and had no knowledge that this was in
fact a "modification"! I have had an insurance claim and bodywork
done on the same vehicle by a different insurer in the past and this
was never mentioned or an issue? Are they just trying to wriggle out
of the claim? Who should i talk to? Any advice much needed and
gratefully received!!
Many thanks Read more
Well my insurers on the phone said the accident sounded like " a classic" 50/50 claim.
Im going to change insurers regardless of the outcome as i think this is ridiculous....
Reading an article in yesterdays paper that stated that the car insurance industry had not made money for 5 years and this year was going to be the one where they reset rates with most people paying 40% more.

Aviva (formerly Norwich Union) dominate the market for car insurance in the UK and set the headline prices which others follow and chip away at.
All the major insurers are losing money in respect of premium as compared to cost of providing cover at the moment and while they used to invest the premiums and pick up revenue that way the stock market is not a safe bet....
