HI.
I've got a 2007 1.4 TDCI Fiesta Diesel that i've owned since August 2009 with no trouble at all, but after service and its first MOT, it has developed a very rough idle, although driving is fine.... Read more
Does anyone know anything about the number plate on Alex Polizzi's Audi on the Hotel Inspector. It appears to spell POLIZZI. Read more
I agree with Muggy - it is definitely fake number plate, POLI ZZI plate is only featured at the beginning of the show, however later in the show the same car appears with standard plates reading OE09 MMF which is DVLA registered black Audi 2009.
Hi,
I was hoping someone could help shed some light on the issue I am having with a y reg diesel fiesta Turbo Diesel.... Read more
I have not known diesel to degrade but you could try feeding some fresh stuff straight into the pump. Does it actually run on easystart? if so it sounds as though the pump timing is retarded, although I can't see how. How old is the cambelt?
From what i see on these forums, looks like this is a common problem, I have the esp dash indication on and the esp switch lit up as well. What is my best first course of action? Read more

Hi
I am looking at this item (a Sealey TC963 - Tyre Bar for Aluminium Wheels). Why are these bars so expensive, or are there alternatives to this bar?... Read more
Greg, Look on you tube there is videos showing you how to use one, type in manual tyre machine, im at work today so can't provide a link.
First let the air out of the tyre with a valve key, then break the bead start at the wheel with the shallow side first usually the front of the wheel then break the back one, stand on the tyre too it helps to break....
Hi all, looking for some suggestions (or confirmation!) about a problem my sons Mini One 1.4D is experiencing. Symptoms are:
Recently he had a couple occasions when the electrical system would fail completely and without warning, but the fault was very random and infrequent. However, yesterday he parked it on the drive and went back out to it about 10 minutes later and it would not start - nothing, battery was flat. I connected jump leads to it from my car and we couldn't get it to jump either - whilst the ignition lights came on they were flashing on and off and and we couldn't get the engine to turn - just the solenoid click.... just us after the battery went flat and it wouldn't start, so after the fault manifested. Apart from that no.
I have an 04 plate Saab 95 2.2 turbo diesel, that has started to run very rough. it has 55,000 on the clock, and was serviced @50,000. it starts without any problem, and runs well until it gets up to temperature, then it runs very rough, blows too much smoke, and is using too much fuel (down from av. 45 mpg to 38 mpg). When running, it accellerates ok, but when it is held on a steady thottle, you can feel the engine hunting, and it blows a lot of smoke, can anyone help me? Read more
When cold the CAT is not even in operation yet: it starts working only when fully warm. If it is clogged then the engine will run erratically both under load and with static accelerator pedal, as well as smoke copiously.
EGR is also another suspect, but as said before I doubt it has one at all.
Hello Everyone,
For those of you who are aware of the current Mazda problems whether it be the famous DPF problem to tyre wear & valves snapping off - i have waited long enough for a government agency to do something about it after ignoring all of our complaints and stories.... Read more
The problems seem to be with Mazda diesels, usually just after the 3-year warranty has expired. Mazda petrol engines, like other Japanese petrol engines, are very reliable.

Energy should be free be it petrol diesel electricity gas etc.Wy should a minority charge the majority for energy which we need.I wonder how many inventions have been surpressed for not using oil.I know we can argue that people have to be paid who work in the energy industrie which is right we al need money to live or we end up in a cardboard box. There must be a better way to use energy or a different way there be somebody out there who knows the one with the little grey cells.Just a thought.
I have an intermittent start problem on this car in the respect that if I have started first time, gone about my business, turn off and lock up then go back to the car in an hour it doesn't start and I have to wait a few hours for it to 'reset' then attempt to restart which most times it does. Ive noticed this also when I go back into it to retrieve something without starting then it won't start a short while after that.
I started thinking immobiliser but all the dash signs (i.e. the red flashing light) indicates this is working correctly as advised by a guy on 'Just Answer' website. The remote key has been checked by Ford and so has the system and its had a PCM reset to no avail. It locks and unlocks fine and will give the same problem with the standard (non remote) key. Ford didnt come across the non start problem but presumably they did all the checks inside half an hour so it didnt show up. I even thought is it a mobile phone interferring with the cars system!...
