Hi on going probs with this car,ok any one can shed some lite on this prob,new egr,new idle control,new ht leads,so far,start car up in morning,no prob,drive for miles &miles no prob,minuate turn engine off restart runs like box of nails ,rev it up a minuate or so back to ok.if do not rev up ,& just pull away it will cut out,sometimes when it feels like it,air filter fine.stumped.some one has suggested the air pump next to battery faulty,dont acturly know what part in engine this plays.many thanks if u know prob,second guessing is getting exspensive. II am having problems with balancing the carbs on my bike. For the life of me, I cannot find the points where I can measure the ratio on the gauges. Can someone help me with this please? The Haynes manual mentions where to find these but I cannot find them on my bike.

I own an NTV650,same as the Deauville minus the fairing.Assuming you've all ready removed the fairing....
Used this car for 13000 miles and then had problems with trying to start it, advised by dealer to fit new battery, did and everything OK for 18 months.
2 years later car started hopping and became dangerous to drive, took to dealer and advised to fit new battery, did this and everything OK for 20 miles, started hopping again and very dangerous to drive, no power. Back to dealer. Put it on diagnostics, uopdated car computer and all the lights lit up, dealer stated that it needed a new actuator and probably would need a new ECU but did not really know what was wrong with it.... thanks for that, there is an arrow on top going clockwise, thought it best to check. still cannot move the thing, will try it when it is cold, see if it makes any difference. whoever did it up last time must have really cranked it on
There is a grinding noise when i brake but only at low speeds.I have had new discs,pads and changed an ABS sensor but it is still happening.Only happens when you are going slowly and brake.The ABS light is not on.Please can anyone help we don`t know what to do next? Read more
Take it back to the garage that did the work and tell them to fix it.
If they prove difficult contact the local Trading Standards and complain about the garage.
