Peugeot 407 2.0 Hdi - Strange bleeping noises ..... - Hughm

I had a dealer install a reversing sensor/warning kit a few years ago. Now when I select reverse I hear 2 sets of musical beeps, each lasting about 10 seconds. It's very musical but I don't understand the significance of them. The sensors appear to be working correctly although to be honest I did reverse into a wall at speed recently ....

Any ideas?

Mine do its to tell you have selected reverse gear and the system is working.
