"I Hope Speed Ferries can keep going." - me too, I advance purchased a book of 10 tickets and I've only used 2!! Bought on the credit card though so presumably I could claim back from them, if SF went bust.
I paid for a car in July this year. It had a fault with the remote locking. This was supposed to be fixed at a local Mercedes main dealer. It wasn't taken there in the end and after 4 months I am still waiting for my car.
I see that I am not allowed to name the garage here. But please take the time to read my blog at sorry - still naming and shaming and see how they have treated me.
Thanks

Actually, that's rubbish, I didn't give it a thought at the time as I was an infant. What I mean is, upon later reflection I wondered.......
I am thinking of buying a 57 plate Clio 1.2 16V, but after owning a 1.6 16v Megane in the past that on several occasions broke down due to coil pack failure i am concerned that this model might suffer from the same problem, or, hopefully does it not use these unreliable coils ?
Any other advice on buying or owning a Clio 3 would be appreciated ! Read more
Thanks for that Screwloose, thats what i was afraid of !

It'll never work. It flies like a helicopter which means it's probably controlled like one. And that will rule it out for most of the few who can afford it. Helicopters are far trickier to fly than a fixed wing aircraft, which in turn are beyond the capability of a significant proportion of the population.
It'll never catch on.

I reckon there's something like that growing in the passenger footwell of my wife's car. I might be on to something here......
I have just been looking at this website with a possible view to taking out a policy with this company. From what I can see of the small print so far it all looks pretty good - about £35/month for this car that I have just bought. Any views from others who have used private extended warranties or indeed this one would be v. helpful. (Assume I am allowed to quote their name) Read more
When you buy a second hand car a lot of the dealers just use these type of insurance policies rather than use their own labour. It is interesting that the likes of Ford etc are often cheaper to insure against probablyh because parts are so cheap people don't make claims for a lot of things.
These policies are good if you have a newish car with a complex engine, I would imagine there is a lot rules you have to stick to though with regard to servicing. E.g if you the piston went through the block they would want to know when it was last serviced and who did it etc.

Another benefit is at least driving the Tribeca you do not have to look at
it!
But everyone will point at you, and snigger.
Like the local Ssangyong dealers are offering their vehicles cheap at present. Goodness , but they are UGLY!
(the vehicles, not the dealers)

There's loads of people from May 02, because that's when backroom v1 became Backroom v2.
I'm the one from August 03!
I have been told that it is the Diffuser by the main dealer with 2.5 hour at labour at 82.50 per hour. I work up the other morning to an 1/2 inch of cold water in the passenger side footwell and since then my fans haven't worked and nor has the front window heater - When it is on 4 the highest setting I can sometimes hear it trying to kick in.
Has anyone experienced anything similar - Mechanic reckoned it would be 95.00 but the salesman managed to get it up to £350 but would look to do a better deal
