Saw this on the TV ads. Looked up a review and that looked OK. then checked out how much. It's 35 to 45 thousand. They probably source them in the Far East for a lot less than that.

Never give your bank details out, over the phone or by email or social sites, for any reason! A new scam, tried on a friend, is a telephone call asking to make an appointment to change a gas meter. American Factory is a fly on the wall documentary about Fuyao, a Chinese automotive glass manufacturer who set up in the former GM factory in Dayton, Ohio and now supply the US car industry.
You'll need Netflix to watch it but well worth an hour and fifty minutes of your time. Not so much because of what they make but as a look at the culture differences between the West (and the US in particular) and China. With Honda pulling out of Swindon, it may happen here.... Read more
No, not necessarily Fuyao, but another Chinese manufacturer looking for a base in Europe. Perhaps less likely to be the UK with Brexit working out so well.
The Japanese appeared more flexible when they set up here, especially in regard to working with the unions. It's worked for them with the UK factories being pretty much on a par with the home operations. From what you would see in American Factory, the Chinese aren't prepared to work that way.
