The article on the Top Ten Cars most vulnerable to keyless theft should be compulsory reading for those who have a garage but do not use it for it's intended purpose.
I live in a close of 17 properties, all with garages and more than half with double garages, yet I am one of only three owners who garage their cars. The rest fill their garages with push bikes, freezers and discarded furniture, yet they probably tell their insurers that their cars are garaged overnight.... Read more

No, removing the door card gives no better access. Remove the handle and look into the door .You will see part of the latch lever . the handle lever has to slide behind this .Its a bit of a fiddle, but its the only way to do it.
Do people use it to travel in the UK or it is Europe?

Probably amazing in Americaland, cheap petrol, big roads, wide open spaces. I suppose the turning circle was the Isle of Wight?
To be fair it did have rear wheel steer and if it's anything like on my lorry its nearly half the turning circle.
But yes probably best suited to its homeland where you could probably fit it through the McDonald's drive through.
Hi
Looking to buy a van off a dealer. This includes vat.
I haven’t a business but want it for camping. When I come to sell it, what happens to the vat part? Do I charge that?
Any help appreciated
Also does it make a difference with seats etc on the vat?
Thanks
Nick Read more
If you are not Vat registered, then you can’t charge it on re-sale or claim it back on purchase. Seats or no seats makes no difference.

Driving south down the A331 (Blackwater Valley Route) this morning I noticed that 50mph signs had appeared on the section between the Frimley Junction and the Coleford Bridge Junction (used to be 70mph).
I remembered reading that this was being planned, not to counter accidents, but to reduce air pollution.... Read more
Hopefully & verybsoon we will see a blanket 40mph speed limit on ALL roads currently restricted to 50/60mph. How quickly we forget that most of the UK's road system was at one time fine for slow tiny cars & commercial vehicles using a very narrow road system. Vehicles are now wider & faster, there are too many of them on an increasingly overcrowded island, drivers are intolerant & impatient so forcing down speed by limits is inevitable. Eventually every road & every vehicle will be monitored 24/7/365 for speed so enjoy whatever speed you can now for soon it will be too late.
Big choices !!

There’s plenty of fun to be had from a low powered skinny tyre shod supermini on hire. I’d have the Citroen if there was a choice but the Polo would be fine with me too. I often opt for a Panda if available too, I love wringing a tiny wee petrol motors neck along a twisting resort road. Enjoy!

I'm amazed it hasn't already been snapped up by a taxi driver. Our Toyota main dealer has a waiting list for these. As soon as an ex PCP comes in they sell it same day.
They are good for 200,000 miles at least.

Why not have a car that will only start if a device is physically inserted into a slot in the steering wheel. Maybe we could call it a key?
This is a prime example of technology for the sake of it which makes things less secure, same category as internet connected door locks.......
