Take it to a dealer, its warranty work.

They will sort it faster than we can on a forum where we can only talk.

My VW Tiguan has had a DMF collapse after only 52,000 miles. This seems a little premature? Are there any known issues with the AutoHold function causing premature failure of the DMF? Read more

Hi, just wandered if someone can give me some pointers. A short while ago I had the front wishbones replaced in my car as the rubbers were worn and I was getting alot of knocking sounds, along with a knock when I applied brakes, and thought this was all linked due to the worn links. Everything else is now cured apart from this knock/tap sort of sound. It only knocks once, when you first apply brakes and doesn't happen if you are very gentle on the pedal, and sounds like its coming from the front near side, any ideas?

Depends on the duty cycle. The petrol should be good for low forties mixed driving and the diesel low, mid fifties. Short journeys would push the former down to mid thirties and the latter mid forties.

Hello!

Would anyone have any info or ideas concerning which of the above two Shell diesel fuels would actually produce the least (lowest) emmissions in the context of a MOT emmissions test? I rang up the technical dept of the Shell customer care 0800 line twice and both times they told me that V-Power and Fuelsave produce exactly the same (low) levels of emmissions. I strongly got the feeling that they didn't know what they were talking about.... Read more

Remember, it's not the manufacturer who is in the frame in law, it's the seller, the vendor, why do you think manufacturers sell through dealers? It's to protect themselves from claims from end users.

And even when manufacturers own the dealerships, like Mercedes-Benz and Renault, they set the dealerships up as individual companies so the liability doesn't transfer back to the manufacturer/importer.

Hi - it seems my car has decided to let in water from both drivers door and passengers. I've looked at the seals of the doors which look pretty perished, and have quite a few small hole in.

I've found some new seals, but I've no idea how or what I need to do the job. Would a non-mechanical person like myself be able to prise off the existing seal with a screwdriver, and push on the new one by hand?... Read more

I suspect you meant to put an apostrophe in passengers.....If you didn't, that changes the situation and it becomes much more interesting.
