Looking at these photographs, motor car design has moved in safer directions.

Parked car which was running fine. On returning car will not start. Diagnostic check revealed code P0560 System Voltage Low Input C-04. Fuel pump not working but was replaced by a new one. Still the same problem and code showing. Can anyone explain the the proceedure for checking this fault. Is a battery fault, earth fault or ecu fault?

The battery on my CMax appears to have died - it's 8 years old, so not too bad. It's of the calcium variety, so from previous advice on here, I intend replacing like for like. The Bosch website lists the S4 (Silver) as the direct replacement, but it doesn't mention 'calcium'. None of their batteries do. Does anyone know whether they are indeed calcium?
On checking the Euro Car Parts website (I have a branch nearby and they are open tomorrow) they too list the S4 among others, but again, no mention of a calcium alternative. Read more
Our local Ford spares shop states"we only stock calcium batteries now".
Hi ,
I occasionally sell cars I've taken in part exchange on e bay .Looking at potential buyers feedback ,there are lots of time wasters bidding on cars who don't appear to complete the purchase .
I'm wondering if any of these time wasters have ever been pursued through the courts for damages ,or to enforce the purchase .
Have any forum members come across a case involving e bay and what the outcome was .

A major problem with e bay ,is that sellers are no longer able to leave clear negative feedback for buyers who fail to complete a transaction .
It's possible to leave negative comments ,but the e bay system registers the negative comment under a posative indicator .
A buyer I recently sold to , had 6 posative indicators on his account ,however on reading his details it showed that he had failed to complete on two of the transactions .
Sellers can cancel bids from time wasting bidders ,but it needs to be much clearer who the time wasters are .

We have a petrol driven 2003 Vauxhall Zafira that has started to have an intermittent starting problem. What happens is that sometimes there is no problem in starting and running, while at other times it fails to start (it does turn over), and if it does catch it sounds like it is running on 2 or 3 cylinders, and stalls when any load is placed on it. It has been into a garage twice, once to replace the throttle unit, and once to clear out some air intakes, but still the problem persists.... Read more

OK, folks...I've driven only American cars my whole life (with the exception of one really horrible European import that put me off imports for years). However, I just took a leap of faith and bought something utterly unfamiliar: a Mercedes Benz from West Germany. What do you folks know about these, are they any good? This is way outside my comfort zone, but I'm willing to try and master the learning curve, which in this case might be bigger than usual. (I'm still trying to figure out the unusual gauges/controls and read the owners' manual) Any tips for these cars? Thanks. Read more
It looks as though nobody here has an '81 350 SL!
