I see from the "News" columns at the side of this forum that Renault are about to unleash a new improved Laguna upon the world. I wonder if the total number of sales in the UK will get into double figures this time.
IThe Mk1 seemed to do pretty well, and there still seem to be quite a few Mk2s around; but how may Mk3s do you ever see? The fact that the bodywork appeared to be stuck-on flat plastic panels probably didn't help... Read more

I have just purchased a 2007 BMW as above with 32K on the clock; when I stop in "drive" at say traffic lights the car starts to move about like the engine is misfiring or somebody is pushing the car from side to side, if I put it in "neutral" it stops.
I have just parted with a 2007 320d auto with 25K on the clock and this car had just started doing the same thing but not as pronounced.... Read more

The standard camera service and repair price(i.e. the one charged, regardless of the problem) seems to be half the camera's cost. Having been bitten once, I gave the camera to Oxfam (with a note of warning) and bought a new one.
i was recently hit by an oncoming vehicle who was overtaking several parked cars on her side of the road. She was considerably over the centre of the road even though she could have safely moved nearer to the parked vehicles. The single carriageway road is wide enough for 3 average size vehicles to pass safely. She is claiming that I am partly at fault even though I was as close to the curb as I could go without hitting it. Who is at fault? Read more
Judge - "Now then Miss, when did you first notice you were injured?"
Accident victim - "A couple of weeks after the accident when the nice solicitor said I could make a few grand if I said I was!"

I take your point. The Mk1 Laguna was a decent workaday car in my eyes although I dislike French cars. Everything else that came after were disastrous cars by all accounts.
