I have a Golf 3 2e engine a \ t 1993 model. The problem is that sometimes the rpm be irregular and it is difficult to reach more than 2000 and the car be without power (difficult to move). I checked the car by computer and there is no diagnostic code. And i was cleaned the throttle and stepper motor and the air mass meter, but to no avail, note that this problem is rarely happen to me about once a week and after a long journey in the Traffic jam , drive on the open way does not occur at all , in addition to being at the time of the problem I hear the voice comes from the gate of air mass meter where moving move non-regular>> Please help Read more

You need to gain access to the rear cover so as to remove it and inspect thre connectors on the buld. If they are OK then try tapping the holder with the bulb on, but be prepared for the bulb to go. Regards Peter
When driving In very wet weather the "F" warning comes on and the gears (manual and auto) don't function. Local Auto gearbox specialists won't look at semi automatic and told me to contact the main dealer, who quoted £75 for a diagnostic check and said they would then probably refer to a specialist! The transmission works fine in dry conditions, so I think it is a problem of moisture getting into the electrics or sensors, but I am worried about clocking up big bills for a relatively minor fault. Not usually you would do it as you have in the past.
However if the fluid is 2 years old or older then yes you should change the whole fluid, buy a easy bleed use this if unsure how to do it take to somebody who does.
