Deleting email folders - bintang

I am using Outlook 2007 (with Windows 7) and have created some extra folders for long-term storage. I now have too many and want to get rid of them but can't find any way to do so. The Help facility, as nearly always, is no help! Can anyone suggest a method please (apart from the obvious "delete" commands)?

I use Outlook& & W7 also.

Right-click on the folder, select delete, confirm.

Or am I missing something in your question?

what happens after clicking on the delete? If it doesn't delete empty your cache then you can try restarting the computer and try again.

or

You can try deleting emails one by one, only hoping you don't have 1000s of emails! :)

Right-click on the folder, select delete should do the job
