VW Polo - VW Polo 1.2 ABS Light on after Interior Clean - bernsc

I thoroughly cleaned the interior & carpets of my 2002 Polo at the weekend. Since doing so, the ABS warning light is on permanently from start up.

Is it likely that I have accidently loosened a connection? If so, where should I be checking? Failing that, what's my best course of action to keep costs to a minimum?

Its probably just coincidence, the only possibility is that a feed to the control unit has been disturbed. If it comes on and flashes several times its probably a wheel sensor, if it comes on and stays on without flashing could be a power supply failure just possibly from inside the car.

The electronics for the Abs system are under the bonnet.However the connectors for the rear wheel sensors are under the back seat.Is it possible they have been disturbed when cleaning?hth
