I've just bought an '03 Xc90, and the third row of seats' seat-belts are frayed at points - doubtless owing to a dog chewing at them at some point.

I am confident the webbing is not so compromised as to prevent it from restraining folk in the event of a sudden stop or worse, but am mindful of the fact that their condition is not likely to pass unnoticed on an approaching MoT.... Read more

Hey all, this is my first post on this forum.

Im wondering how im able to replace the instrument cluster. the original one that came with my car only has the temperature light and no rev counter and not too long ago my cars inlet manifold failed because the temperature light had failed, car overheated. gone.

anyway, thats all repaired and ive picked up a new instrument cluster from a Y reg zetec, same car same model. and im wondering how to switch them around so i get my original mileage back onto the car. i thought it would be a straight switch over as the plugs matched and were identical, but the new ones older mileage had come up on the dash. so obviously not. any help towards this would be greatly appreciated!!!!

thank you! Read more

Long story short. Went on holiday drove over 1000miles, started ticking, hardly any oil so added more. Car started smoking and no power and misfirering. Garage said to much oil and changed start plugs. Drove a further 200 miles and started misfiring again. Replaced ht leads but may be faulty as still misfiring. Guy in garage on holiday so young lad looked at it. Not sure if he has put my ht cables back on in the wrong order. So don't know what to do. Any ideas what order the attatched to the rotar arm cover and if not the ht leads what it can be? Cheers Read more

In my previous car (BMW 328i) I was able to have fresh air at face/head height whilst warming my toes. In my new 3008 there appears to be no way to have the same, and in fact in order to have warm feet the temperature has to be cranked up quite high, meaning an overly hot head!

Any ideas whether this can be adjusted?... Read more
