mondeo mk3 tdci 2002 - where is the belt tensioner? - carnut1980

hi all, i have just swapped my alternator, i cheated somewhat and pulled off the idler to slacken the belt, i know there is a tensioner but dont know which one, nor what tool will fit it, any ideas? I simply cant get the alternator belt back on as is, any help? cheers
