Fuel prices at three-year low, says AA 21 Mar 2014 (News)
Fuel prices are at a three-year low, according the AA. Petrol prices in March have been 129.46 pence-per-litre on average, down from 138.42 pence-per-litre in 2013, while the average diesel price was down 8.6 pence-per-litre from 145.24p to 136.59p. -

The price of a barrel of crude oil has also increased to $52.79 following the storm. RAC spokesman Pete Williams said: "The average price of a litre of unleaded on Thursday 31 August was 117.29p and diesel was 118.14p but we could see unleaded rise in the coming days to around 121p-per-litre, with diesel likely to stay stable around 118.5p." -

Asda, Sainsbury’s and Tesco have announced they will cut the price of fuel across their forecourts by up to two pence-per-litre. At Asda filling stations that means the maximum price of unleaded is 105.7 pence-per-litre, while diesel will cost no more than 106.7 pence-per-litre. -

Vauxhall launches smaller diesel engine 16 Jan 2013 (News)
