Of course as the law stands, the warehouse owner is left to pay for their proper removal and disposal. This scam has also been worked on small lock ups so if thats your business, I'd keep a closer eye on them. -

Should I be filling up my new diesel engine with the more expensive "low sulphur" stuff, or will good ol' regular diesel suffice? Is it just a marketing scam, or will the low sulphur stuff really protect the engine, make it do more mpg,... etc? In the 5 weeks that I've had the car i've alternated between regular diesel and the low sulphur stuff at fill-ups. -

Nitrogen Filled Tyres? 12 Aug 2003 (Forum)
I know that some tyre retailers claim nitrogen keeps tyres inflated for longer thus enhancing tyre life, reducing fuel consumption and 'helping with vehicle handling' - whatever that last bit means. Seems to me it seems like a good scam on behalf of garages to charge a premium to fill a punters tyres with a low cost gas. Look forward to replies from someone with experience. I'll try and keep an open mind until then! -
