Practical and very fun to drive

Well, I had a P11 Primera for two years, from 2004 to 2006, a long time ago, but I still remember it fondly.

It was the GT version, with the 150 bhp SR20DE engine. Although the styling isn´t terribly attractive (perhaps a different set of alloys to the more mundane SE version would help), I knew perfectly what I was doing when I got this car. A rev-happy engine. A typical japanese gearbox (i.e. perfect). A really well set up chassis. A true steering. And a very practical body, roomy for four passengers and a big boot.

So it´s a very fun car to drive, and fuel economy is rather good. Reliability? well, I had a couple of troubles, having to replace the alternator and an electric window, but that´s not bad in 20,000 miles of motoring.

They are dirt cheap nowadays, so if you need a cheap, practical, reliable but a true driver´s car, look no further.
