Unlucky 06

Hi. I went to put my window up, the other day & all I heard was this awful, crunching & clanking noise, obviously some has broken!! My question is, what has broken? Is there a motor of some kind?

Any help would be appreciated. Read more

"Suzuki has warned that it'll be available in very small numbers for the first year."

Probably because at those prices, hardly anyone will buy one, rather like the Subura BRZ compared to the GT86, which hasn't exactly set the world on fire sales-wise.

Yet another over-priced car that'll be competing against the Germans as well as it's sister car. Read more

Responding to Stojom & Falkirk Baird,
Neither of the cars you are comparing the Suzuki to are Plug In Hybrids, so will always be cheaper. Be interesting though to see what Toyota ask for the new RAV4 PHEV when it comes out next year.

Hi everyone new here and having trouble getting the car to start on its own. Recently went to the supermarket and when I came out the car wouldn't start`so bought some jump leads to try and start it, nothing happened so I had to push start it. It's a keyless ignition with a keycard and a start stop button. Since the incident the engine warning light is illuminated when the card is inserted and after about 10 seconds a warning light comes on saying "battery low start engine", since then I charged the battery using a battery charger until the charger said fully charged and then tried to start the engine again, still nothing and then same error message.

Does anybody have any advice?... Read more

A business of servicing Escorts for girls would seem to have a somewhat limited prospect of success. How many Escorts are there left to service?

Only a few left. All the other rusted away. Lots of Focii around. Maybe the OP & Co can service them....

Would have put this on the NDCSP but had wiped the sd card after loading the video on my pc.

Apparently the Police require the unedited original with the actual card.
Hardly felt the shunt but found a scratch on the rear bumper later and requested DVLA to provide the vehicle keeper details. October 23rd received a response, an envelope returning the application form V888 which was sent to them in August, estimate for repair and my cheque for £2.50. Note signed by a K.Meredith asks me to supply registration numbers of mine and the offending vehicle, which are clearly displayed on the form!

I dont think it quite compares to the Stasi. Nobody is trying to hear which radio station I am listening to or in which direction my TV ariel is pointing!

I think its a good idea. We have virtualy no enforcement on the roads, so any prosecutions that are made are a bonus to all road users by reducing risk. In an ideal world, we would have some actual police to do the job of policing our roads, but there will need to be significant changes to our administration first.
