Wifes car has started every couple of days the traction control light coming on and gives 2 beeps no warning on the screen only the orange light coming on, will this i have registered as fault on the computer as I will need to take it in to the dealers to have a look or does anybody have any idea what's wrong

Its not a good idea to disconnect a battery on new cars as the ECUs need time to shut down correctly and this can take up to 30 mins so taking off the battery can fry an ECU. Best just get it to the dealer for them to look at.
As I get more involved in taxi driving my offspring to and from parties I find that I am drinking less and less. Saves quite a lot of money too!
I have a 06 punto. 1.3 multi jet engine. A few weeks ago my glow plugs lights came on which I left this then meant my battery was drained first thing in the morning and car wouldn’t start. I replaced the glow plugs and the battery. My glow plug light still stayed on and it still hard to start frirst thing in the morning I then relaced the glow plug relay hoping it was that but still not fixed the problem. Now 11 months, still satisfied, no further compaints, after 3 fill ups on Tesco momentum, shell v power, a noticeable improvement in fuel economy when on a "run", about 8% on my pifometer....

It is reported today that the powers to be are considering Green number plates for electric vehicles. This in turn may lead to such vehicles having favourable conditions on the road such as driving in bus lanes and lower parking charges. Such a policy if proceeded with will discriminate the vast majority who drive conventional vehicles and could possibly lead to even more road rage. Quite how it might work is another thing! Read more
As I said before, solar and wind are highly variable and are normally at the worst in that regard in winter when EVs need the most charging and there's far more demand for electricity generally....
Have a look underneath, you should be able to see where its coming from. Could be form the valve cover on the cylinder head, that would be one of the easier jobs, or it could be a crankshaft seal - not so easy.
I certainly wouldn't drive it with a low oil level and it sounds as though it needs a change anyway. Read more

Great to hear how pleased you are with the car, apart from the annoying niggle of water in the boot. There’s a reason why the Golf sells so well and why VW appear reluctant you kill off the name. Several reasons, actually!
