Indeed - Blackcircles are currently offering them with a £40 discount for four as well, even more than the CrossClimates for that size. I'd still go for the CC+s because I live in East Anglia and don't get much snow on average, but the Vectors are always very highly rated if a little more winter biased, so better for colder areas of the UK that get more snow.
The CCs are known for low wear, but it probably evens itself out given the Vectors are normally cheaper (even without offers), especially on 16in tyres and above (not that much in it for smaller sizes, only a few £ when I got mine). Yours should be fine, especially in the rain as well as wintery conditions - they just won a group test in Auto Express as shown on the Tyre Reviews website:...

Have you seen the price of the catalysts in fuel cells? That’s why hydrogen vehicles cost a bomb. Okay for buses maybe, not for normal cars, at the moment. It is conceivable that new cheap catalysts will be found of course. Or more efficient batteries!
We have seen several insurance claims through pensioners confusing their feet and pressing the throttle thinking it's the brake. The car doesn't slow so they press harder and .... bang.
This is a good example of what can happen.... the driver blamed the car but it was found to be pedal confusion.

When HJ "did some tests" at Mercedes Benz World, it follows that he KNEW that they were testing braking distance/times, therefore he would have been driving with his left foot permanently hovering over the brake pedal, and in permanent heightened anticipation of the emergency braking event moment.
No wonder he was able to stop more quickly.
Obviously one can more quickly get pressure onto a pedal when the foot is already positioned a millimetre from the top of it.
As I have posted before: If this test was so conclusive, then Mercedes are duty-bound to place the brake pedal further to the left, possibly with a physical barrier between it and the throttle, to FORCE drivers to use their left foot to brake.
Has this happened yet?
