A friend of mine has just purchased an Audi A3 (56 plate) but, unfortunately, it's only been supplied with one remote key (the only key!) He would obviously like to obtain a spare.
I know the key contains an immobiliser chip so is it just a matter of buying another key on Ebay (or similar) and using the existing key to program the new one, or is this a main dealer or specialist locksmith job?... Read more

My wife knew someone where she used to work who had a mito, spent more time in the garage than they had it, got rid after 8 months
Did anyone else notice that the majority of the constant and irritating audience applause in last night's euro debate came only from the "stalls".

Couldn't be bothered watching another 'debate' that tries to re-run the referendum until the required result comes out. It's over, will someone please tell them. All the vitriol of the remain campaign is still there waiting to spew out on every hopeful message that it is proposed. They cannot wait for the UK to fail, just to say 'I told you so'. These people are the most reprehensible kind and let us hope this revolution in politics throws up some decent candidates that we feel we can rely on to carry out the mandate the PEOPLE actually voted FOR!!!!!
Boris and Gove would be my initial choice. A good blend of charismatic leader and very intelectual policy exectutor. That will do at least until the 2020 election, when, unlike the EU commission, we can vote to remove or retain them....

There seems to be a lot of criticism of NextBase battery life and I'm very surprised that the company hasn't, it seems, successfully addressed this issue. I'm considering getting a dash-cam and the amount of negativity which surrounds this problem is a bit perplexing.
On one hand we have the journos extolling NextBase's virtue across their entire model range, on the other, there seem to be buyers who have had less than a satisfactory experience....
Hi,
My first post. I'm looking to buy a Porsche 911 993 couple within the next few months.
I know there can be lots of problems with an older car such as this and I'm not looking to spend more than £40k on a car approaching 100k on the clock. Are there any independent specialists that can look over the car for a through inspection prior to buying?
Thanks,

Agree but I just don't like the look of the Cayman. For me the ONLY true 911 is the 993.
Hi, I need some advice again.I got a 1.6l 04 reg civic, which has a slight leak on the outer cv boot and clicks slighly, but only on full lock at the moment.I took it to a garage and they said that the driveshaft is on its way out and that it makes more financial sense to wait until it gets worse before fixing it.What is the best money saving option here ? try and sell it before it gets much worse(would I even be able to sell it in that condition?) or wait until it gets much worser and then I guess replace driveshaft,cv joint, boot etc ?

Secondhand shaft from a breakers would probably be easiest and cheapest.
They may even do the job for you if you ask, and cheaper than a garage would
Most locksmiths can cut keys-some locksmiths can code keys.
