Porsche 911 993 - Buying Porsche 993 - Quietlife1977
Hi,

My first post. I'm looking to buy a Porsche 911 993 couple within the next few months.
I know there can be lots of problems with an older car such as this and I'm not looking to spend more than £40k on a car approaching 100k on the clock. Are there any independent specialists that can look over the car for a through inspection prior to buying?

You may have set your heart on a 993, but for £40k a much newer Cayman (a recent six-cylinder) is surely at least worth a test drive?

Agree but I just don't like the look of the Cayman. For me the ONLY true 911 is the 993.
