Just driven along M25 anticlockwise from Dartford crossing, making good progress as 1030pm and light traffic, then....ANIMALS ON ROAD 50MPH....gantry after gantry, mile after mile, about 13 in total. All crawl along for ages at 54mph as fearful of cameras - not even a rabbit to be seen, until eventually 'all clear' sign.
I don't use M-ways very often, but time and again I see stuff like this. It must be really frustrating to regular commuters. Don't the numpties that operate these message boards have cameras to see what's going on? Do they not have contact with patrols? So often they seem to fail to switch off the advisories when the problem has long since resolved. Does anyone out there have any knowledge of why the gantry service is so often stupidly incompetent? Can anyone honestly say whether the PGPSW Safety cams are as good as they claim being up-todate with their database for the locations of the safety cams. Read more
I have it on my iphone and it is much more up to date than the Tomtom system I used to use. As soon as I used it it alerted me to mobile spots that Tomtom didn't. I tend to drive 80% the same routes and 20% new so noticed the disrepancies early on.
Hi
Looking to see if anyone can shed a bit of light on a previous years MOT being noted incorrectly. I might be selling my current motor in the near future, but a few years back my MOT was noted on the certificate in KM rather than miles. I didn't notice this at the time as the odomoter had been switched during the MOT accidentally when the technician had been resetting codes, I think. Wasn't until over a week later that I informed garage and by that time it was too late to change - appreciate this is my fault entirely.... Read more
Just a follow up - I found paperwork showing I had a warranty repair the same year after the MOT (I thought it was a year after that - time flies!) so I now have something from the dealer six weeks before and two months after the mileage being noted incorrectly (BTW it was not MOT'd by the dealer). I asked the dealer to email me to confirm the milages recorded on both dates - they have done so and they align - so hopefully enough now to allay any buyers fears!

I have seen a red version of the car I got for 13990 from Snows on a 15 plate just over 6000 miles seems a bargain. A way for you to go but it's Toyota used approved in Paignton.

We've got the 1.6/115 HDi in a 2013/63 Berlingo. Doing close on 20k milespa of mixed urban and longer distance stuff including towing a small caravan. Service interval 12.5k miles or 12 months. Given distances covered we're servicing on mileage and it's usually done 500 or so early.
Never missed a beat. Never directly aware of DPF operation but apparently it accounts for odd operation and run in of radiator fan when you'd not expect it.
Some people's complete sense of entitlement these days is beyond belief!

I am in Oz. My son's girl friend hit a roo in her Yaris and wrote it off. She would have been doing about 110kph at the time and they were lucky not to have been killed. I have never seen a Yaris with a roo bar but they would have been glad of one then.
