Pocket GPS World Safety Cams - Any good ?? - autumnboy

Can anyone honestly say whether the PGPSW Safety cams are as good as they claim being up-todate with their database for the locations of the safety cams.

This database is updated weekly and is probably as accurate as you will get. No database will be 100% accurate as things change day by day, and it relies on members spotting the changes and reporting them so that they can be verified. It is certainly better that some well know providers.

I've always found it to be spot on. If you spot a new camera or mobile location you report it. If your the first and it's verified by another member then you win a lifetimes free membership. So there's an incentive.

You only get one year free membership now for each notification that is verified as first. It changed a bit back. Still a good incentive as there are always changes going on.

I have it on my iphone and it is much more up to date than the Tomtom system I used to use. As soon as I used it it alerted me to mobile spots that Tomtom didn't. I tend to drive 80% the same routes and 20% new so noticed the disrepancies early on.
