My ford fiesta 1999 MK4 will now not start. i had a look at the engine and there was no spark, then had a look at the coil pack big crack.

Main points are upping fine from £100 to £150 and points from 3 to 4 (6 for offences at wheel of LGV/PSV). Rationale is reduction of casualties, particularly pedestrians and cyclists.
Contains some interesting discussion on phones/apps with a 'safe driving mode' which reduces functionality when it senses phone moving at much over walking pace.

Saw a 2011 Kia Ceed advertised on Autotrader. The Car is in good condition, but part of the dashboard is slightly protruding up just where the demisting blower is. The seller is getting this changed under warranty.
However, it is not very clear to me if changing the dashboard will reset the mileage counter?
The car has done around 50k miles, but I feel this will go down to 0 after the dash is changed and the car wil be difficult to sell later.

Why is the dash protruding? It suggests to me a repair has been carried out badly.
Replace under Kia warranty? I doubt it covers trim after 5 years of abuse....
Hi, I have read previous posts about Ford Ka heaters not working but they all appear to be blowing cold air, whereas my son has a 1.3 1998 Ford Ka3, the heater doesn't work at all, turn the switch and nothing happens, my wife had the car previously and she found the heater only worked on full blast no matter which setting she had it on, then it packed in.
I have checked the fuse and after reading the other posts I have changed the heater control valve but still nothing, I was thinking about changing the heater control panel on the dash but before I spend anymore money I would like to hear if anyone has any other advice.

I had a look at the weekend and the help I received was spot on.
I removed the heater control switch and found it had suffered heat damage, the plastic on the inside had melted so I have now ordered a new one, I am sure it will fix the problem because I could get the heater to work if i pushed the rear of the switch in a certain way....

What makes you think a petrol version will get the stated mpg ?
You don't say how old the car is, so no idea of it's value, so nobody can say if it's worth fixing it or not. In addition, you only 'suspect' what the problem is, you don't actually know, so you've no idea what it's REALLY going to cost to get it fixed.

There isn't a keycode generator for producing codes for Ford radio serial numbers that begin with a "V", I'm afraid. It's only possible to produce codes for "M" serial numbers.
Your only options are your local Ford main dealer or there are people on Ebay and online who claim they can supply keycodes for "V" serial numbers for a fee....
