I recently bought my mk4 golf gti and after about a week I noticed the car was pulling slightly to the left. Shortly after this occurred the esp warning light came on the dashboard. I need to fit two metal power steering pipes (return side).
They are connected by rubber pipes on either side going round to the front where it acts a cooler pipe and bends back to the reservoir.... Read more

I removed the front panel/bumper in the end as I was replacing two metal power steering pipes. But it's nice to know how the headlights come out as well....

One of my friends daughter has just passed her test. She is 18 years old (19 in September) - does anyone know of any reasonably priced insurance companies/sites. The cheapest she has been quoted was £1074 with Tesco car insurance and the most expensive was £3500. She has used the comparison sites but the quotes are very very expensive. Anyone any ideas? Try a quote from Diamond. My daughter passed her test a year ago at 19. With both parents as named drivers we were quoted sub £1000 and her premium has dropped this year to £750. And no black box restrictions.

I have test driven a 520d and I agree it did feel nice and refined. With a surprising kick to it but as I was in london I wasn't on the open road. As I have a 4x4 right now it didn't seem too large in comparsion and I'm used to looking for parking spaces the size of a bus..
Hi there, for the past few days when driving, after a 20 Mins the engine start to make a funny rattle every 5 seconds and the screen wash sprays on its own even when I take the key's out. I had the wipers and lights switch on themselves he other day on there own after I'd switched the engine off took the keys out and when I opened the door they switched on by themselves. been to local garage and they are non the wiser. Please tell me someone has had the same problem, not long since I had to pay out £850 after timing belt went! Read more

So, I have yet another issue with my troublesome Fiesta.
I was driving about town, engine operating fine for the 4 days before and up untill this came about, normal tempts etc, when I got a sudden loss of power and the car started jeking about. IVe checked all around and ive still got a full compliment of oil, and water/coolant. theres no smoke or steam and no smell of petrol. Theres no leaks or bits of metal anywhere so im certain I've not fragged it. theres still fuel to the rail even after 4 days and several starts.... Read more

Teves abs failure problems is very common on the mi 5 golf from 2004.not so much on the mk 4.Get the system checked.If the steering is not straight when driving forward,this can bring on the esp light.
