Maybe you can get non-bio fuel in Germany. But in UK and France there is ~10% bio in the blend.

We're all dooomed....

Hi

I disconnected the battery while working on my car but now the radio won't work as I don't have the radio code. I removed the radio from the dashboard but there's no code on the chassis. Do I need to have the radio reprogrammed?

On the back of the radio are the following:

Serial number: V401680
FDB200
22.01.2008
Model: SINGLE CD KW2000
Part: 6561-18C815-AJ

There's also a barcode with: VM0839911 03/08

Thanks
Alan

The only good thing about roundabouts with traffic lights on is that usually they are better than what the roundabout was like before the traffic lights were installed. I mean the kind of roundabout where it was virtually impossible to filter into a continuous stream of fast-moving traffic coming from the right.

As for the junction design which this thread is about, I think it would need an enforced 20 mph limit in order to work properly. I also wonder if the designer of it has ever driven a car!

Bought a relative a mobility scooter and it needs new batteries, the old ons, two of them are 35ah, anyone know the effect of putting smaller 20ah batteries on instead. Will the range be reduced or will there be other problems Read more

i need to get my keyfob repaired,i don't have a spare key at the moment,i was wondering if i could just get a duplicate key blade for opening the doors manually, would this blade also start the engine,or does it have to be attached to the fob,any info would be greatly appreciated,as i don't want to be wasting cash,i can't send fob away to get fixed unless i get a spare cut.chicken and the egg syndrome i think you would call it.thanks in advance. Why not just buy a new one at Nissan,

oldroverboy.

So, two things that have got me so far this year, Plod offering a nice little incentive to anyone who shops a drink driver..

Secondly a good friend collected me from the airport the other night and should not have driven! While waiting for us had a few in the airport bar, I took the keys and drove, and gave him a severe ticking off. ... Read more

I hope that ORB and his friend are still on speaking terms - but I think we'd all agree he did the right thing in taking the keys and driving.

Yes, We are on speaking terms, although I had some harsh words, mitigating was that he said he did not drive to pick us up like that, but drank while waiting, but if i thought he had done it again, my conscience tells me that I would have to report him. I agree that repeat offenders should face lifetime bans....

I seem to get a rattling/ vibration when I hit about 2000 revs in all gears. It's in lower revs in first gear, but it always goes away after a few seconds. I belive it may be gearbox thrash? does this mean anything to anyone, and is there any advice on how to cure it? Read more

Ford had already announced they were ending manufacturing in Australia, now it looks like Toyota is following suit - leaving no-one making cars at all in Australia.

Hi All

We bought a smoking Doblo about year ago. Took tehturbo pip off and oout poured oil and tehre was play in teh impeller. So ist sat there for aor ages whilst other porjects were dealt with. Anyway we finally fgot round to this and we fitted a second hand "known good" turbo but it still smokes. Sort of a whiteish smoke but still smells like oil burning? Ran it for a while thinking it might be burning off residue, but as soon as you rev it out the smoke pours. Took the outlet pipe off the turbo and wiped around with clean tissue but dry as a bone? ... Read more
