I turned off my sat nav whilst engine was off When i tured sat nav back on the radio has lost the restore to new stations. Add some other variables - get the windows open, the aircon on, put some bikes on the roof, allow a large dog with flappy ears to hang out of the window..........

I'm not quite sure it sounds fine but it feels like when you stall the car just a lot worse.

Sounds as though you have an alternator problem, with the engine running it should read about 14.4 volts.
