Siberian Winter

I have a problem with a voyager that overheats after normal use. The PCM was recently replaced with a new unit and the cooling system flushed/refilled. The problem seems to be the two cooling fans aren't kicking in.can anyone help with where i can find radiator temp sensors or suggest how I can resolve the issue.

Any help would be much appreciated!! :)... Read more

The new car looks great value and the 2.2 Diesel has a great specification but the old 6 Diesel has a woeful reputation for reliability judgng by what I have read here. Is the new engine any better? Read more

The horror stories happen after (often soon after) the car comes out of warranty. If you're buying new and, as RTJ says, change the oil frequently, you should have nothing to worry about.

If I were buying secondhand, I think I'd want to see proof of regular fixed-interval servicing rather than those variable schemes that allow 20,000+ miles between oil changes.

According to some of the F1 sites, it seems Michael will have a new car that suits his style of driving at the Spanish GP. Longer chassis - more front grip.

Agree, with all the money he got he should go and enjoy it and not muck about with young drivers. Greedy he is from advertising tic-tacs to shampoo, now fooling around.

This website has a good advert about seat-belts. Slightly different from the normal approach, but thought provoking.

Funny how it`s been cherished over thousands of years - although if you were a pre-cow of pre-history it must have been great to have a lick of the salt cake - if your tongue had gone blue due to lack of minerals.

I noticed a car covered in it last week. The rear wiper had been deployed and there was a clear arc you could see through.

There was little on our cars just South of Leeds - although I kept them rinsed off with a hose - in particular the glass areas.... Read more

Been a couple of minor falls in NE Derbyshire and I've sluiced them away before using the wipers. Not noticeable on the paint though.

Under the dash on passenger side,2 bolts/screws undo and slide out what looks like a credit card.Undo connection and remove. It will have burned out.You will be able to see where,at the top where the printed circuit is 'fattest'.Rub down with very fine wet & dry and solder a bridge across.Be patient, its tricky to do.I've done this a few times with success. Most cards in the sc***yard are burned out as well but can be repaired.Be careful about buying from ebay,as parts from sc***ped cars are about the same age and are on their way out !
A new card is about £40 from Nissan.

If you`ve ever looked at a global map in China, the UK is somewhere up near the top left corner - as relevant as the Galapogos islands are to us - and not worth a shrug - just a blank stare when you mention the UK.

That was my impression on meeting business minded relatives on a recent visit.... Read more

How can we export? The company i worked for (25 years), has now moved to china, machines and all.

Please help! I've never had any problems with this car until yesterday. I went into neutral cos I stopped at a junction, but I tried to drive off, and go back into Drive, it went into Drive no problem, but it WOULD NOT go forward!! I tried reverse, and it can do that, so i tried Drive again, but it just wouldn't go forward! RAC came out and said it's the gearbox and would be £800 to replace!! Does this sound like a gearbox problem cos i don't have £800 lying around!!! Read more
